An element most greatly affecting the visibility is the brightness of an object. Since a difference between brightness in a view from above in the extinction of the self-luminous road stud 10 and the brightness of light emitted from a luminous element 3 is set great enough to reach an L-value of 20 or more, the brightness in the emission of the light and the brightness in the extinction of the light noticeably differ from each other. Additionally, since the luminous element 3 blinks and emits the light, the high visibility in the daytime can be stably secured.
