Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a self-position to be always obtained with stable accuracy.SOLUTION: A self-position estimation device includes multiple pieces of positioning means that select a satellite set allowing the device to receive a signal in a prescribed positioning period by using information included in the signal received from a navigation satellite, and perform a positioning process to estimate a position and accuracy by using signals from the satellite set. The device outputs a position estimated by a piece of positioning means whose accuracy is a prescribed value or more as a self-position. Each piece of positioning means redoes the positioning process when accuracy of another piece of positioning means becomes the prescribed value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
