Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the effectiveness in works of loading or unloading through backward falling of a boom holding a boring device by putting a boom facing up while the centers of gravity of the boom and boring device are positioned between vertical planes including the center of the front and rear caterpillar wheels.
CONSTITUTION: A boom 4 is put facing up while the centers of gravity of the boom 4 and an auger type boring device are positioned between the vertical planes A, B including the center of the front and rear caterpillar wheels. A self-propelled boring machine is prevented from backward falling with the sum of the backward falling preventive moment about the boring machine due to the weights of the boom 4 and auger and the backward falling preventive moment due to the own weight of boring machine other than them, and the lifting ability of the second winch 14 accordingly increases. In case a rotary type boring bucket 18 is used as boring device. the weight is increased to the double, and therefore the bucket 18 is sunk to the downmost position, and the center of gravity G is put aside to the base side of the boom 4, and the lifting ability is increased. Thus this can work also as a crane vehicle and is capable of executing cast-in-place concrete works for constructing a pile even in a narrow place easily and quickly.
