Abstract:
To provide a self-propelled electronic device capable of not only avoiding a stationary obstacle but also reducing damage to a housing due to a collision with a moving body.SOLUTION: A self-propelled electronic device includes a proximity detection unit 50 for detecting a moving direction and a moving speed of a moving body based on a detection signal that detects the proximity of the moving body, a first collision determination unit 51 for predicting a collision between the moving body and the self-propelled electronic device from the moving direction and the moving speed of the moving body and a moving direction and a moving speed of the self-propelled electronic device, and a collision avoidance unit 52 for executing an avoidance operation to mitigate damage caused by the collision according to a predicted result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
