To provide a self-propelled feeder usable in common for broad application by quantitatively feeding the required amount of conveyed material to feed destinations of various work even if the properties of the conveyed material to be fed change diversely.

The self-propelled feeder comprises a self-propelled traveling body 1, a belt conveyor 10, and a quantitative feeding means 20 quantitatively feeding the conveyed material to the belt conveyor 10. The quantitative feeding means 20 comprises a cylindrical casing 21 installed in a position right below a hopper 30 and right above the belt conveyor 10, with its centerline pointing vertically; a bottom plate 22 having a discharge port 22a of the conveyed material and shielding the lower side opening of the casing 21; an upper side opening shielding member 23 arranged in an upper position to face the discharge port 22a of the conveyed material; rotating blades 25 radially provided at a rotating shaft 24 to form a plurality of partition chambers 27a; and a motor 26 rotationally driving the rotating shaft 24. The conveyed amount of the conveyed material to the belt conveyor 10 can be adjusted by controlling the rotating speed of the motor 26.
