PURPOSE: To facilitate the feed-in and feed-out of the title inspection system with respect to a pipeline, by providing a cable take-up drum to a ground apparatus to make the cable winding drum of a self-propelling apparatus disassemblable.
CONSTITUTION: The take-up drum 20 of a self-propelling pipeline internal inspection apparatus 10 is constituted so that the body 28 and flanges 30 thereof can be disassembled. There is a power source 44 for a take-up control apparatus 22, an on-machine station 40 and a truck driving apparatus and it is unnecessary to supply power to the apparatus 10 from the ground side. The power source 44 contains a main power source and a backup power source and, even when the main power source goes wrong, power sufficient to allow the apparatus 10 to run to the inlet of a pipeline is supplied. By providing metal cable connectors 481W4814 connecting the constituent parts of the apparatus 10, each of the constituent parts can be easily disassembled. Further, the ground drum 52 of a ground apparatus 12 can take up a cable 14. As mentioned above, since the constituent parts of the apparatus 10 can be disassembled, the apparatus 10 can easily be fed in the pipeline and fed out therefrom.
