Abstract:

To provide a self-restraining metal ring nut and establish its manufacturing method whereby easy and low-cost manufacture is ensured and excellent self-restraining characteristic is established.

A self-restraining metal ring nut 10 includes a body 11 and a ring 12 having elastic flexibility. The body 11 and ring 12 are equipped internally with threaded parts (13) and 17, which have phases shifted for α from each other, and the ring 12 is out of deformation. The ring 12 is installed in the body 11, accommodated in a seat 15, and fixed thereto through folding of its edge 16.
