Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the safe self-running golf cart which is automatically reduced in speed when the unmanned self-running golf cart which travels approaches people.
CONSTITUTION: As for the self-running golf cart which is guided to run along a guide path, a man 25 carries a transmitter and a receiver 22 mounted on the self-running golf cart receives a radio wave during a guided travel. Consequently, the self-running golf cart is so controlled to travel at a low speed and when the detection signal of the receiver 22 is ceased, the golf cart is controlled to travel at a normal travel speed again; when a detecting means detects a man riding on the golf cart, a speed control circuit 9 controls the speed to the normal travel speed.
