PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-sealing connector with which a suction leading hose can be easily taken out and easily handled by opening an air passage under the use state of inserting a pipe-shaped plug by a pipe body and closing or making narrow the air passage under the non-use state of pulling the plug off.
SOLUTION: Concerning a valve element 3 disposed in a duct 2, the duct 2 is closed or made narrow, and the duct 2 is closed or made narrow corresponding to the shape of a pipe body 1 itself having a prescribed length composed of a flexible member. Further, the duct 2 is closed or made narrow corresponding to the deformation of the pipe body 1 itself. When a pipe-shaped plug 5 is inserted into the duct 2, the pipe- shaped plug 5 is operated upon the valve element 3 or the pipe body 1, and the air passage of the duct 2 is opened. The valve element 3 inserted into this duct 2 is adhered closely to the inner walls of the duct 2 and suppresses or blocks the communication between the pipe body 1 and the pipe-shaped plug 5 and the pipe-shaped plug 5 inserted into the duct, extends the duct 2, separates the adhesive parts of the duct 2 and the valve element 3, extends the air passage and makes the pipe body 1 and the pipe-shaped plug 5 communicate with each other.
