Abstract:
To provide a method for self-sensing of a displacement of generation and force of generation of a piezoelectric actuator.SOLUTION: The displacement of generation and the force of generation are determined from relations of the self-sensing force, the self-sensing displacement, the self-sensing load-free displacement, the rigidity, the capacity, the insulating resistance, the driving voltage, the dielectric absorption charge, the integrated capacity of an integrator, and the output voltage of a piezoelectric actuator. The accuracy of self-sensing of the displacement of generation and the force of generation of a piezoelectric actuator can be increased by compensating for the dielectric absorption and the bias current of the piezoelectric actuator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
