Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve a self-service or unmanned gas station, by eliminating the need for change and signs.
CONSTITUTION: Prepaid cards of various types worth the integral multiples of the highest value of paper money, for example a ten-thousand-yen card, a thirty-thousand-yen card, etc., are sold by a prepaid-card-vending machine 2 in a gas station 1. By putting the prepaid card into a control operation device 3 situated in the vicinity of an oil feed pump 4, a customer is allowed to feed oil within the remaining value of the prepaid card, and exact calculation is processed by the use of the prepaid card after the oil is fed.
