Title:
SELF-STANDING CONTAINER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3731948
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a capacity of a container having a similar height to a conventional one and make an upper part difficult to bend as contents decrease to improve self-standing ability by bending a bottom of a container body and including a take-out port and acute-angled folds provided at both sides of the take-out port on an upper wall.
SOLUTION: A container body 1 comprises a bottom wall 6 bendably extending from a lower rim of both side walls 5 and bent into a gusset inward and an upper wall 7 bendably extending from an upper rim of both side walls 5 and bent like a gusset. When upper rims 12a of an upper piece 12 constituting the upper wall 7 are sealed by heat-sealing, an acute-angled fold 8 is positioned on both sides of a take-out port 14 protruding from an upper rim of the side wall 5 formed at the center. Thus both side walls 5 of the container body 1 extend not only downward but also laterally extend toward the upper wall 7, thereby increasing a capacity, while the container body 1 swells not only in a lower part but also in an upper part when it is made to stand by itself, thereby increasing self-standing ability.
