To provide a self-traveling crusher wherein, while being capable of low fuel consumption operation at a low load working time, cam plate angles of hydraulic pumps 9, 10 are controlled to be small at a high load working, pump load torque is controlled to be a previously set load torque, and operation speed of the crusher 3 is prevented from getting slow.
When operation load torque operated by a torque operation means is determined to be exceeding the previously set torque, the set cam plate angles are corrected by reducing the cam plate angles of the hydraulic pumps to reduce the load torque to the set load torque, while a set engine revolution speed is corrected to have a constant pump flow rate by eliminating reduction of the pump flow rate due to reduction of the cam plate angles.
