To provide a method/device for selling contents by which the sales of the contents is efficiently promoted by collecting and displaying comments to the contents widely.

A book provided from a writer terminal 7 is registered to a book DB and displayed. A book review with respect to this displayed book is registered to a review DB 12 and a review ID is registered to the DB 12. The name of a user who has transmitted a review and accumulated comment point are registered in a user DB 11, and the registered comment is opened to the public. When a user terminal 5 purchases the book as the result of reading this opened comment, a utilization point is added to the review point of the DB 12 and a utilization score is added to the cumulative review point of the DB 11. When a reader uses his/her cumulative review points for purchasing the book, the portion of a price equivalent to the review points is subtracted from the price of the book and the review points for the price are subtracted from the cumulative review points.
