Abstract:
1. Semipermeable membrane which consists of a microporous carrier layer and a selective, asymmetric membrane layer of a film-forming thermoplastic polymer, the asymmetric membrane layer containing a finely divided, inorganic pigment, characterised in that the asymmetric membrane layer contains 60-90% by weight of a finely divided inorganic pigment and/or filler, the specific surface area of which is in the range 5-50 m**2/g.
