Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely realize a capacity element in the values differentiated by a program processing in a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION: A programable capacitor is composed of a capacitor C1, one or each of two multipliers M1, M2. Within the capacitor, the capacitor C1 is connected to the input side of a buffer B1, programable resistors RP1, RP2 are connected in series between the input side and output side of the buffer B1 thereby enabling the output to be taken out of the junction point between the resistors RP1, RP2. The setup value ratio of the two each of resistors RP1, RP2 can be dicided by multiplying the capacitance values in terms of an array of the elements so as to attain the effective capacitance as a whole amount equivalent to (RP2/RP1)×C1. The final effective capacitance is approximate to (RP2/RP1)×(RP4/RP3)XC1. The value of the resistor RP1 is adjusted according to the reference signal from a complementary circuit, so as to complement the manufacture/processing dispersion of the capacitor C1.
