Abstract:

To provide a semiconductor device having an RFID capable of sending and receiving personal information without requiring the operation of confirming the residual capacity of a drive battery or replacing the battery due to aged deterioration, while maintaining the sending and receiving of personal information in a good condition even if the electric power of an electric or electromagnetic wave from the outside is not sufficient.

A battery (or secondary battery) is provided as a power supply for supplying electric power to an RFID. If electric power obtained from a signal received from the outside is greater than predetermined electric power, that extra electric power is stored in the battery; if the electric power obtained from the signal received from the outside is smaller than the predetermined electric power, the electric power obtained from the battery is used as electric power for drive.
