Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an auxiliary word line from being incorrectly selected when a main word line is defective by electrical disconnection.
SOLUTION: Each of memory cells 6 is connected to a main word decoder 1 via a main word line 2, an auxiliary word decoder 3, and an auxiliary word line 4, while each of redundant memory cells 12 is connected to a redundant fuse circuit 9 via a redundant main word line 10, a redundant auxiliary word decoder 11, and a redundant auxiliary word line 13. Each of connecting points between the main word lines 2 and the auxiliary word decoders 3, as well as each of connecting points between the redundant main word lines 10 and the redundant auxiliary word decoders 11, is grounded via a resistor 15 with a high resistance value.
