Title:
SENSITIVITY COMPENSATION INTENSIFYING SCREEN AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3131503
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a sensitivity compensation intensifying screen preventing to pick up a boundary line between regions having different sensitivity compensation ratios by continuously changing the sensitivity compensation ratio, and making the change width sufficiently wide.
CONSTITUTION: A sensitivity compensation intensifying screen 5 is provided with a phosphor layer 3 provided on a base material 2, a protective film 4 formed on the phosphor layer 3, and a sensitivity compensation layer 2 compensating the luminescence from the phosphor layer 3 based on the radiation transmission quantity at a photographed portion. The sensitivity compensation layer 2 is made of the photographic paper forming a monochrome image having a smooth and continuous density gradient as a sensitivity compensation pattern, and the difference of the reflection factor of the monochrome image is utilized to make a sensitivity compensation. A positive film provided with a shading image having a smooth and continuous density gradient is prepared based on the radiation transmission quantity at a photographed portion, and the shading image of the positive film is reverse-printed on the photographic paper to manufacture the photographic paper having the monochrome image.
