Title:
SENSOR CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3255273
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a miniaturization and a saving of power by a method wherein an inverting amplifier comprising a CMOS inverter is connected in series in odd stages to guarantee the linearity of an input/output relationship as expressed by a specified formula and an impedance as sensor is connected between the input and the output or to the input.
SOLUTION: For example, a sensor circuit is formed using two capacitance type sensors Cap31 and Cap32 and the input and the output of an inverting amplifier comprising three stages of CMOS inverters I131-I133 is connected by the Cap32 and the Cap31 is connected to the input of the inverting amplifier. When an input voltage to the Cap31 is represented by Vin and an output voltage from the inverting amplifier by Vout, an input/output relationship is as given by a formula [I]. Thus, the output voltage is proportional to the ratio of the Cap31 and the Cap32 and when changes opposite to each other are caused in the Cap31 and Cap32, the changes are amplified and outputted.
