Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor and a corrosion detection method which non-destructively manage the distortion amount and the filling status of a steel structure, and the corrosion state and the crack state of a steel material, for example, using a card-like RFID tag.SOLUTION: A sensor 1, which outputs a radio signal showing the electrical characteristics of a detection unit 13 made of a metal material, includes: a base plate 11 having one surface where the detection unit 13 is formed; a control unit 15 on another surface of the base plate 11, the control unit being electrically connected to the detection unit 13 and outputting a characteristic signal showing the electrical characteristic of the detection unit 13; an induction antenna 17 for outputting the characteristic signal as a radio signal; and a magnetic sheet on further another surface of the base plate 11, covering the control unit 15, the control unit 15 being driven by an electromotive force generated by a magnetic field applied to the induction antenna 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
