Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor IC with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A sensor IC (1) comprises: a semiconductor substrate (18); a frequency-variable frequency oscillator (11) formed on the semiconductor substrate (18); a phase synchronization circuit (13); and a detection circuit (19). The frequency oscillator (11) includes an inductor (20). The phase synchronization circuit (13) changes a control signal for controlling an oscillation frequency of the frequency oscillator (11) which tends to change according to variations in dielectric constant or magnetic permeability of a sample (12) arranged in the vicinity of the inductor (20) so as to control the oscillation frequency to be within a prescribed value. The detection circuit (19) detects a change of the control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
