In the sensor plate 10 provided with the press-molded detection part 12 for detecting positions, the face 16 of the detection part 12 is formed into a desired surface by press-deforming. The manufacturing method of the sensor plate 10 is provided with both a work formation process for forming a work to be the sensor plate 10 by stamping a flat plate material into a shape approximately along the shape of the detection part 12 and a detection part formation process for inserting the work in a pres die formed into a shape matched with the shape of the detection part 12, press-deforming the work, and forming the face 16 of the detection part 12 into a desired surface.
