Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to insert/extract a sensor body accommodated in a sensor unit for a printing medium.SOLUTION: When a sensor substrate (upper sensor substrate 47 and lower sensor substrate 48) is extracted from a sensor unit 41, screws 58 are removed from the sensor unit 41, and an upper sensor fitting part 42R and an upper sensor fitting part 42L are divided into two while a lower sensor fitting part 43R and a lower sensor fitting part 43L are divided into two. This facilitates the work to inspect/repair the sensor substrate accommodated in the sensor unit 41, or the work to replace a defective sensor substrate with a new sensor substrate.
