Abstract:
To provide a low-cost sensor unit for use in a tire air pressure monitoring system, facilitating installation and replacement.
The sensor unit 3 is installed in a valve cap 7 to be mounted on a valve 6 of a tire, characterized by that it is equipped with a pressure sensor 10 to sense the air pressure of the tire, a controlling means to transmit the sensing result of the sensor 10, a power supply means to drive the pressure sensor and the controlling means, and a valve element depressing part to depress the valve element 62 of the valve 6.
