Abstract:

To output an acceleration signal at an improved S/N ratio by swinging one of a plurality of vibrators (weight parts) which is supported in a cantilever manner in the same direction in a first direction, and the remainder in an opposite second direction, calculating the sum of the deviation of the swing locus of the vibrators in both directions, and eliminating an acceleration in an axial direction excluding the angular velocity component around an axis.

Positional phase differences at the time when first and second vibrators swing are 180 degrees in the direction of X-axis, and the same phase in the direction of Y direction. A first addition/subtraction circuit 19 subtracts a signal that is obtained by subtracting the signal of a piezoelectric element 9b from the signal of a piezoelectric element 9a from a signal that is obtained by subtracting the signal of a piezoelectric element 4b from the signal of a piezoelectric element 4a, and outputs an output signal corresponding to the fall constituent of the vibrator due to coriolis force and acceleration of around the X axis to an LPF 20 or 23. Similarly, a second addition/subtraction circuit 20 outputs the output signal of the vibrator regarding the Y axis to the LPFs 25 and 27. An acceleration signal can be obtained by amplifying with a specific gain by amplification circuits 21, 24, 26, and 28.
