Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the check concerning positions where a honorific style and a normal style are used by setting conditions of positions where expressions characterizing styles should be used and storing these set conditions and discriminating whether the position of a detected expression meets stored conditions or not. CONSTITUTION:Expressions characterizing styles (normal style/honorific style) are stored in a style expression storage means 3, and a style expression detecting means 4 detects an expression stored in said means 3 from a Japanese- language sentence stored in a sentence storage means 2. A position condition setting means 9 sets conditions concerning positions where expressions characterizing styles (normal style/honorific style) should be used, and a position condition discriminating means 6 discriminates whether the position of the expression detected by the style expression detecting means 4 meets conditions stored in a position condition storage means 5 or not. Thus, the check is performed with respect to positions where the honorific style and the normal style are used.
