PURPOSE: To simplify assembling of a disk wheel and to facilitate mounting and dismounting a tire to an automobile by providing a face-to-face contact area to an inner and an outer rims.

CONSTITUTION: A separate type disk wheel is comprised of an outer rim A, an inner rim B, an outer disk C and a inner disk D, all made of fiber reinforced composite. Both rims A and B are provided with face-to-face contact area 1 and 2, which are dovetailed into dents 5 and 6 furnished on the disks C and D respectively. They are joined together with a bolt 12, which penetrates the connection areas 1 and 2 and dents 5 and 6, and fastened with a nut, and the rims A and B are mounted to the disks C and D. Whereupon, the disks C and D are provided with extensions 7 and 8, which support the contact areas of the rims A and B to a tire 11 and the opposite rim ends to prevent the rims A and B from cracking at the time of a high speed driving.
