PURPOSE: To provide the separating treatment device for improving treatment efficiency by subjecting the sludge of the night soil in raising facilities, such as swinery farms to a sepn. of solid from liquid before the final treatment for allowing effluence in the treatment device for the excreta of livestock in animal husbandry industry.

CONSTITUTION: The separating treatment device 6 for the sludge which is introduced with the sludge 60 discharged from animal husbandry facilities 1 and subjects the sludge to the sepn. of solid from liquid consists of a treatment chamber 10 and a separating device 40 which is equipped in this treatment chamber and is actuated by a pressurizing device 50. The treatment chamber 10 includes a cylindrical body 11 formed of a perforated plate 30 on its peripheral wall 15 and the separating device 40 includes operating tubes 41 to fill the space in the body 11 by expansion. The solid of the sludge 60 is pressed and deposited between the operating tubes 41 or is filtered and stagnated by a filter cloth 32 supported on the perforated plate 30 of the peripheral wall 15. The water content is leached and separated from the perforated part of the bottom plate 18 or peripheral wall 15 of the treatment chamber 10.
