Abstract:
To easily separate particles by dielectrophoresis without diluting a suspension liquid containing salts with a dilution liquid free from salt.
The separation device 1 is provided with at least a pair of electrodes 3A, 3B placed interposing a space in a flow channel 2 to flow a suspension A containing multiple kinds of particles B, C having different dielectrophoretic properties, a voltage feeding part 4 to form a non-uniform high-frequency electric field in the flow channel 2 by applying high-frequency pulse voltage between the electrodes 3A, 3B and a frequency controlling part 5 to control frequency of the voltage applied by the voltage feeding part 4.
