To provide a method for separating a hydrocarbon mixture fluid, which enables the high yield recovery of an LPG fraction easily evaporable as an off gas, the separation of the hydrocarbon mixture fluid under conditions that reduce the loads to distillation towers such as a hydrogen sulfide-stripping tower, the decrease in the pressure of installation designs, and the reduction in the cost of installations because of not needing many distillation towers.
This method for separating various hydrocarbon fractions from a hydrocarbon mixture fluid consisting mainly of hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrocarbons having boiling points of 20-400°C comprises separating the hydrocarbon mixture fluid into a low boiling point fraction containing the hydrogen sulfide and a high boiling point fraction substantially not containing the hydrogen sulfide, selectively removing the hydrogen sulfide from the low boiling point fraction, separating the residual fraction into a first component containing hydrogen as a main component and a second low boiling point component substantially not containing hydrogen, further separating the second component into an off gas, a ≥5C fraction and an intermediate fraction between these fractions, separating the intermediate fraction into an off gas and LPG, and then recovering the LPG.
