Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for separating and taking out a plurality of flat plate-like bodies such as glass plates laminated in a standing attitude one by one from the front row.
SOLUTION: In the method, a traveling head provided in the upper space of the plate bodies is made to travel by a traveling means from the front to the rear row side. While air is jetted in the vicinity of the upper end of each of the front and the second plate body from the air nozzle of an air jet means suspended from the traveling head to send the air into the gap between them, the detection sensor of a detection means provided in the head is brought close to the upper end position of the front face of the front plate. The sensor detects the position by being brought close thereto or contacted therewith, then the head is stopped and a protrusion piece is protruded in the gap by a protrusion means provide in the head, thereby confirming the separation of the front plate.
