PURPOSE: To provide a method for separation from photographic treating solutions, in which treating solutions are contacted with styrenedivinyl benzene copolymer to remove relatively expensive principal developing ingredients or color forming developing accelerator such as benzyl alcohol by relatively simple procedure, thus preventing sewage or rivers from contamination.
