Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate a label or the like from collected waste plastic and the like. SOLUTION: A method for separating and recovering the waste plastic and the like comprises the steps of crushing a mixture of the waste plastic and the like and a label or the like in a required size by a dry crusher 1, then separating and recovering the waste plastic and the like to a heavy weight material side by using a dry gravity classifier 2, feeding a mixture of the label or the like and residual waste plastic and the like separated to a light weight material side to a secondary dry gravity classifier 3 to separate the label or the like to the light weight material side, wind discharging the label or the like of the light weight material side to a cyclone 4 to discharge the label or the like from a lower part, and circulating the waste plastic and the like and the label or the like separated to the heavy weight material side to the dry crusher. This is suitable for recovering PET from waste PET bottles.
