To provide an electrode plate separately feeding method and an electrode plate separately feeding mechanism capable of smoothly and stably separately feeding an electrode plate at high efficiency without deformation and damage of the electrode plate when the electrode plate is separated from an electrode plate lamination body and is conveyed/fed to a separately provided horizontal belt conveyor.
(a) The electrode plate A positioned at a front end of the electrode plate lamination body 2 conveyed by an endless conveyor 1a is pushed up and the pushed up electrode plate is separated from the electrode plate lamination body by placing/transferring left and right edges a to left and right slide frames 6, (b) in the process in which the electrode plate slides/falls on the slide frame, the left and right edges are abutted on a supporting/receiving member 7, whereas a lower end of the electrode plate is brought into contact with a horizontal belt conveyor 8, and (c) a lower end of the electrode plate is forwardly moved accompanying with forward movement of the horizontal belt conveyor. The electrode plate is slid/fallen on the slide frame while turning/inclining the electrode plate in a direction laying the electrode plate making the supporting/receiving member as fulcrum and making the left and right edges as a center, it is transferred onto the horizontal belt conveyor, and it is conveyed to the subsequent step.
