Abstract:
To provide a separator of an electric double layered capacitor using electrolyte, which is easy to set its electric resistance by adjusting the porosity, superior in retaining the electrolyte, suppresses the dry-out phenomenon of the capacitor, and further, does not form pin holes by fallen materials, and contributes to increase the life of the capacitor.
The fine porous capacitor separator using electrolyte of an aqueous or non-aqueous system is characterized in that the separator material is composed of polyolefin system resin and inorganic powder, and the electric resistance is adjusted by leaving an oil-like material insoluble to the electrolyte in some of the holes.
