To provide a coil separator which can efficiently separate a stator being a part of motor components with saved energy into a coil and an electromagnetic steel plate (copper wire), which is energy-saving as compared with a conventional large-sized hammer crusher, and besides which can separate every component perfectly separately for each material, taking account of the environmental aspect, too.

The single-side of a coil jutted out of the electromagnetic steel plate layer of the stator is cut, and it is set to a coil separator. It becomes possible to thrust out only the electromagnetic steel plate layer, so as to hold the coil part on noncutting side with a coil holder fitted with claws and separate it from the coil. Moreover, the recycle of 100 material which is easier than a conventional breakup method becomes possible by this method, and the separator which is also excellent in the environmental aspect as well as the energy saving.
