To provide a separator for a fuel cell utilizing a multiple recess and projection board which has no constraint in the shape and spacing of the recess and projection portions and is superior in productivity.
This is the separator for the fuel cell utilizing the multiple recess and projection board in which a plurality of mutually independent recess and projection portions are formed on both front and rear faces of a plate material 57. The separator has a plurality of stripes of first grooves 58 on at least one face of a plate 57 of the base material which are formed by reducing the thickness of the plate, and second grooves 59 which are formed on both the front and rear faces of the plate by applying a bending process on the plate so as to have a corrugated continuous bending shape in which the trough lines and crest lines cross these first grooves 58.
