Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery separator including fibrillated solvent-spun cellulose fibers, synthetic fibers and fibrillated natural cellulose fibers, which has a high mechanical strength and exhibits a low internal short circuit rate.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery separator comprises: fibrillated solvent-spun cellulose fibers; synthetic fibers; and fibrillated natural cellulose fibers. In the lithium ion secondary battery separator, fibers of 0.20 mm or less in fiber length account for 15-30%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
