Abstract:
To provide a septic tank by which settled sludge is floated up as scum in a larger amount than usual, and the sludge storage tank is decreased in size.
A first sewage feed pipeline 2 and a second sewage feed pipeline 3 are branched from a sewage inlet 1, the first sewage feed pipeline 2 is communicated to the upper part of the sludge storage tank 4, and the second sewage feed pipeline 3 is let communicate with the bottom of the tank 4. When the temperature of the sewage introduced into the inlet 1 is high, the sewage is supplied to the second sewage feed pipeline 3, and the sewage is supplied to the first sewage feed pipeline 2 when the temperature of the sewage is low by operating a sewage flow switching means.
