Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide serial communication equipment which is equipped with two microcomputers performing serial communication and enables a second microcomputer to surely recognize a pulse-state processing completion signal outputted from a first microcomputer.
SOLUTION: The second microcomputer 200 varies the logic level of a processing completion signal EOCT into the state of a pulse in a period from the start of processing in response to a request command to completion, and transmits it to the first microcomputer 100 through a signal wire 300. The first microcomputer 100 recognized the completion of the processing by the second microcomputer 200 in accordance with the state of the variation the signal EOCT. The minimum pulse width of the signal EOCT is set to be longer than the time constant of a filter in the wire 300, and the second microcomputer 200 regulates the pulse width of the signal EOCT to be not smaller than the minimum pulse width based on a processing time corresponding to the request command.
