Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a practically quite useful serum separating medium in which temporal fluctuation of objective components to be measured is suppressed during separating operation without causing any physical or chemical variation.
CONSTITUTION: The inventive serum separating medium principally comprises a dicyclopentadien based copolymer having number-average molecular weight of 200-10,000 containing 20-98mol.% of unit derived from dicyclopentadien, 2-50mol.% of unit derived from olefin and/or alkylvinylether, and 0-30mol.% of unit derived from other monomer having unsaturated ethylene linkage which can be copolymerized.
