Abstract:

To provide a system in which a plurality of servers for providing services in response to requests from a user terminal coordinate with one another and other servers restrict service requests to a high-load server.

When an end server ES#i is in an over-loaded state, it requests other end servers ES in the neighborhood for assistance. When an end server ES#j accepts an assistance request, a mutual-aid relation is established between the end servers ES#i and ES#j, the end server ES#i operates as an assistance request server, and the end server ES#j operates as an assistance providing server. The assistance request server ES#i transfers the service request received from the user terminal to the end server ES#j. The assistance providing server ES#j simulates operation of the assistance request server ES#i with an emulator and issues an access pass (a numbered ticket) where a waiting time Ti calculated on the basis of the emulator is described to a transmitter of the service request transferred from the assistance request server ES#i.
