To effectively collect information about a pedestrian in an area by a camera of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A server device 10 collects information about a pedestrian based on data of captured images around a vehicle 20 captured by a camera 23 of the vehicle 20. The server device 10 comprises a communication unit 11 and a control unit 13. The control unit 13 identifies a point where a time equal to or longer than a threshold has passed since a last acquisition time of captured image data, or a point where a variation in the number of the pedestrian over time is equal to or greater than a variation threshold, as a request point for requesting the vehicle 20 the captured image data. The control unit 13 transmits the request signal requesting the data of the captured image of the request point to the vehicle 20 through the communication unit 11. When the data of the captured image of the request point is received by the communication unit 11 from the vehicle 20 that has transmitted the request signal, the control unit 13 decides to give an incentive to the user of the vehicle 20 which has transmitted the captured image data of the request point to the server device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
