This drilling machine is equipped with 3 prisms P for position detection, an automatic follow-up type surveying equipment 40 for measuring the position by sequential automatic follow-up of three prism P, and arithmetic operation means for the deviation of reference direction of the drilling machine relative to the reference line of the drilling and the position of reference point J of the drilling machine for a facing 10 based on measuring data by automatic follow-up type surveying equipment 40.
