To provide a setting information protection system for a transmitting device which holds normal setting information even when power supply is cut off in the process of writing setting information and restores a transmitting device by using the normal setting information.
The timing of writing setting information to a nonvolatile memory 27 of a setting information holding part 25 is made different from the timing of writing the setting information to nonvolatile memories 36 of packages at the time of changing the setting information. Thus, even if power supply is cut off in the process of writing setting information, normal setting information is stored either in the memory 27 of the part 25 or the nonvolatile memories of the packages and it is possible to restore a transmitting device by using the normal setting information.
