Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition excellent in weatherability, mechanical properties, etc., useful for face coating containing a specific fluorine-contg. vinyl copolymer and curing agent as the essential ingredients.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition containing, as the essential ingredients, (A) a copolymer produced by using (1) 15-70wt.% of fluorine-contg. vinyl monomer, (2) 5-60wt.% of another vinyl monomer of formula H2C= CH-(OCH2CH2)n-OH ((n) is an integer: ≥0, being 0.5-10 on average) and (3) 80-5wt.% of a third vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith and (B) a curing agent having functional group reactive with hydroxyl group.
