Abstract:
To provide a settlement system in which a customer can easily exchange foreign currency and virtual currency for shopping.SOLUTION: A settlement system 1 is composed of: a customer terminal 20 owned by a customer; and a currency exchange machine 10 which can handle the foreign currency held by the customer or the virtual currency deposited at an exchange market 30. The currency exchange machine 10 includes: a deposit processing unit 10a in which the foreign currency is deposited; and a rate conversion unit 10b which converts the amount of the foreign currency deposited from the deposit processing unit 10a or the virtual currency into the local currency based on the current rate. The customer terminal 20 includes a memory 24 which stores the amount of the local currency converted and exchanged by the rate conversion unit 10b or the amount of the virtual currency withdrawn from the exchange market.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
