Air is mixed with washing wastewater 1 containing a pollutant such as a surfactant or the like along with a flocculant solution 4 by an aspirator 4 and sewage containing formed floc particles and air is introduced into a cylindrical separation chamber 6 at a predetermined angle. Since the floc particles hold air bubbles, the washing wastewater 1c entering a separation cylinder 10 from the outlet part 8b provided to the lower end of a mixing cylinder 8 is separated into an upper floc layer 9 and a lower cleaned water layer 22 by the buoyancy of the floc particles. Cleaned water 1d is drained to the outside from the drain port 13 in the vicinity of the bottom part of the separation cylinder 10.
