Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a bulky fabric having decorative threads sewn thereon by sewing the thick decorative threads on a fabric or paper with needle and bobbin threads according to a draft pattern, making a part of them worsted-like yarns and covering the remainder decorative threads therewith.
CONSTITUTION: This method for sewing decorative threads on a fabric consists of a step for initially drawing a draft pattern, another step for sewing a base fabric as the first layer on the fabric according to the draft pattern and the final step for putting the second layer decorative threads on the decorative threads, sewing them on the fabric, subsequently raising a part of the needle threads fixing the decorative threads using a raising device and simultaneously untwisting the decorative threads for making them worsted-like yarns.
